One safety point stated plainly: if a unit or its low-voltage wiring has been submerged, do not simply re-energize it and see what happens. On a garage with that history the honest repair is to replace the sensors and pull a fresh run rather than to test and re-test corroded wire, because the second approach costs more in labour than the parts are worth and does not stay fixed.
